Andy Westmoreland, CIC has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.  Since the beginning of his career, he has been proactively working with middle market businesses to control costs and exposures for their commercial insurance programs with an emphasis on growing long-term relationships and providing excellent customer service.  He has always had a large focus on the construction industry, but also works with manufacturing and healthcare clients.  Andy has worked with various sized insurance firms in his career and seen the challenges and benefits of each sized firm in this industry.  He has been successful in this business by going above and beyond for his clients and helping them effectively navigate the confusing and frustrating world of insurance. 

Andy graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree and played basketball for the Mountaineers.  After graduation, Andy decided to start his career in the insurance industry handling claims for a large insurance company and never looked back.  He started in commercial insurance sales in 2000 and was immediately drawn to helping clients and building relationships that still exist today.  In 2005 Andy completed his Certified Insurance Counselor designation (CIC) which is a very well-known   and well-respected form of professional continuing education.

Currently, Andy is with Noble Insurance Advisors and really appreciates the client-centric practical way Noble does business.  He is excited about taking his experiences and knowledge of the insurance industry and applying that to provide a proactive and practical perspective for his clients.  Andy realized early in his career that client relationships are precious, and he is always willing to “roll up his sleeves” and dig into whatever issues may arise to provide the best outcome for the client.
